Eat & Win: Din Tom Yam Won 42" Plasma TV  The Makan dan Menang (Eat & Win) contest was closed recently, with Din Tom Yam Restaurant walking away with a 42" Plasma TV, as the RPB outlet with the highest number of contest submissions.  The Plasma TV was not the only gift the restaurant owner couple received in June. Sookeeman Razak and Aminah Majid were also thrilled to receive their first grandchild in the same month. Congratulations to both! BERNAS also presented Certificate of Appreciation and 100 kg of rice to Din Tom Yam and five other restorants with highest number of submissions. PILIHAN BERNAS - Sinar FM Thank you Mom & Dad! In May and June, RPB and SinarFM celebrated winners of Mother's Day & Father's Day Dedication contest. Zakiah Ismail the winner of the Mother's day dedication contest celebrates her mom at the JM Bariani House at TESCO in Ampang on May 19, 2007. At the surprise dinner, she read out a peom dedicated especially for her mom which is so touching that it brings tears to Aminah and those present. The winner for the Father's Day Dedication Contest Norazida Ibrahim got the chance to celebrate with her father Ibrahim Awang at Santai Restaurant & Cafe di Taman Tun Dr Ismail on June 27. Ibrahim listened attentively as his daughter recite a poem which she penned especially for father's day. Congratulations Zakiah & Norazida!

Get Spotted @ RPB  Imagine dining at your favourite restaurant and suddenly, you were approached by Sinar FM Ford Cruiser Escape Agent saying: "Congratulations! You have been spotted as a winner!" Get Spotted is a weekly event where a diner from any PILIHAN BERNAS restaurants (RPB) is spotted and given RM100 worth of dining voucher which can be redeemed at any RPB. PILIHAN BERNAS-Guang Ming RPB in the Chinese Market The PILIHAN BERNAS Restaurants (RPB) programme has spread it wings to the Chinese restaurants all over the country, in cooperation with Guang Ming Daily. We have chosen promotional programmes for the restaurants based on four categories, namely: Nutirtion and Health, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Asian Flavours and Chinese Delicacies. During the first promotional program, we have selected the best restaurants weekly for seven weeks. They are Purple Cane Tea Restaurant, Restoran Ho Boh, Castle Nature Health Seafood Restaurant, Tian Yian Cage & Restaurant, Nan Yang Chinese Cuisine, Starview Restaurant (Prai) and Junction Cafe.

Hainanese Chicken Rice Trophy Challenge We are now on the search for the best Hainanese Chicken Rice in the whole of Malaysia beginning May 2007.  Twenty restaurants will be shortlisted and 10 will go to the final round to compete for the title "The King of the Kings of Hainanese Chicken Rice". Among the jury for choosing the best restaurants is regional celebrity Nancy Sit.  The NTV7 is running a 10-week episode on the best Hainanese Chicken Rice programme every Sunday at 10.15 pm beginning July 1st until 23rd September 2007.
