The Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry (MAFI) will launch the Agrofood Takaful for the paddy and rice industry sector in the second quarter of 2022 to assist industry players, especially during natural disasters such as floods. Minister of Agriculture and Food Industries Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee said the initiative will be implemented in stages, starting with the paddy sector.
